I want to thank my wife and soul mate, Judie, for her love and encouragement and my wonderful family who have given me strength and hope when the journey at times was blocked with confusion, frustration and disappointment.
This reflection of my journey through 30 years of music teaching is dedicated to my spiritual mentors, including: Wesley Runk, Dick Cool, Roger Decker, Bill Harrod, Jack Bowsher, Ken White, Frank Battisti, Galen Kral, Robert Bloom, Humbert Lucarelli, Jack Alexander, Ira Singer, Henry Schoebel, John Hamby, Moshe Paranov, Donald Harris, Glenn Chandler, Jim Gilworth, Bill Eifrig, Michael Kumer, Jim Rubish, Ed Sueta and Kathryn Dearborn. These spiritual mentors came into my life at the precise moment I needed their help to continue my journey. Their presence in my life's journey began in sequence from 1957 to the present like clockwork. My journey would have stopped if any one of these mentors had not entered my life at the time of their appearance. |
